Progress
I guess i have finally decided to sign up with Dr Paul Tseng from TLC at TMC. Dr Tseng seemed positive about having me to try for a VBAC and that is a first! I am still qualified to try! Yay! :) A lot of people ask me why i am so keen on VBAC... It is the cost and also, being able to get up and about quickly would help me heaps as i have to think about Tim. I wouldn't want to neglect him when his sister arrives.
So, what has been happening? Baby has been exercising a lot in my tummy... more so when i lie on my side. The are many difference between this pregnancy and the last; I put on more weight this time around. I am 64kg now. When i had Tim at 37 weeks, i was 67kg! I look prettier *cough* - hormones related of course. I remember that i had a huge nose and not so nice skin compared to this time. My hips hurt so much! I tend to be more clumsy when i walk. I had bad back problems when i had Tim and my feet swelled so much, i can't walk properly... especially when the veins on my left leg twitches. Nothing of that sort so far.
For both pregnancy, i look fat and not pregnant! Yes, some folks think that i am just fat... or in the early stage of pregnancy. Having said that, i wish i could diet! lol I would rather be explosively pregnant than to have someone tell me that i am fat :P Then again... i think i just prefer me as me ;)
I think i should really go get those books that would help me explain the arrival of Tim's sibling. He didn't seem to understand when i told him about my growing belly and had been rough when he was playing with me. I do fear about raising a child when i had Tim... now i worry about having to cope with 2... I wonder if Troy is able to cope as well... :/

Dr Paul Tseng is very handsome hor..hehe ;p Well, heard he's a nice guy too:)
Don't worry about not able to cope, i believe it just come to us naturally, i'm sure both you and Troy will make wonderful parents for Tim and his little sister!
Take care ya..and do rest more:)
Aiya, Eu at that time also same thing. Everyone around kept asking me does he knows he is having a sibling. In my mind was: "Oh, give me a break! How and why would a 2 yo care abt that."
I do agree with Eileen, Phoebe...Things will happen naturally, don't worry so much! :)
I guess Tim is still too young to fully understand that Mommy has another little being in the growing belly.
However, it will be nice to just get him involved in whatever you do, like shopping, naming and decorating...:)
Sometimes i do wonder why gestation takes a full 10 months - thats when we can prepare ourselves. I do hope that the OB will be able to help me to achieve a successful VBAC.
Eileen, Fannie, sometimes Tim seems to understand, sometimes he doesn't really bother... I think its didn't become a reality yet as his sister hasn't arrived yet. I think i have to get those books soon! :P
ky, how do you cope with two? Any challenges you have faces so far?
The most difficult part I find is you can't really eat your food properly when dining out with both my kids. Most of the time, I just swallow down the food or request to pack my food if they start to show signs of irritation. But this is just a passing phase, so it's temporary.
The other thing will be fights, which you could start thinking how you want to handle such situation. My way of discipline, is as long they cannot share and play nicely, I will just take away the object that is causing the fight. One important note is to make sure Tim will not have the feeling that he is always the one that gives in. So if the situation is clearly Tien was the one at fault, I will tell her firmly that she should not be disturbing her brother.
